KOENIG & SONS PROPERTIES is the successor to a long established family business in Fort Smith real estate. Beginning back in the 1950’s, C. M. Koenig had an eye for affordable rental properties in established, stable and centrally located neighborhoods. She gradually began to acquire properties that met her standards. Through the years properties were bought and sold, but always maintaining those with the most potential.
Today the family investment business has evolved into a successful limited liability company with owners into the 3rd generation. Fort Smith has been home for our company for over half a century and we continue to focus on providing quality and affordable rentals to Fort Smith residents and businesses. We will continue to do so in the years to come. The company strives to keep its properties well maintained and tenants happy with its excellent and personable management and agents.
MACHELLE FOGO: Property Manager, Koenig & Sons, LLC
Machelle Fogo has been in property management for a number of years. She previously obtained her Arkansas Real Estate License and is certified as a Housing Credit Certified Program Professional. In addition she holds certification in the Arkansas Development Finance Authority Home Program. She has previous experience with Arkansas property management companies where she managed up to 300+ rental units with responsibility for receivables, inspections, showing properties, applications, signing leases and working with vendors.
In duties with Koenig and Sons Properties, Machelle is responsible for all tenant relations, showing and renting properties, rent collections and oversight of property maintenance.
Machelle grew up in Arkansas, has been married many years and has 3 children. Her interests include spending time with her family and friends, shopping and going to ball games.
SAM KOENIG: Managing Partner, Koenig & Sons, LLC
Sam is a lifelong resident of Fort Smith, graduating from Fort Smith Public Schools and thereafter pursuing a professional career for over 45 years. In 2008 he became the Managing Partner of Koenig and Sons, LLC where his day to day responsibilities include the administrative management of the company, strategic planning, marketing, investments and accounting. His focus is on improving Koenig and Sons assets and acquisition of new properties.
